Founders of a highly successful shipping company based in Turkey, the Kamel family has devoted much of its time and charitable contributions to the promotion of Iranian art and culture as well as education. To this end, the Kamel family has generously supported IBS as part of the IBS founder’s circle as well as offering their invaluable time, knowledge and financial support at critical stages for the School’s advancement since its inception. The topic of equal opportunity for women is of great importance to Mr and Mrs Kamel who have created the Kamel Scholarship for Women in Business with the aim of increasing female participation in senior leadership roles by providing the opportunity for women to receive world-class business education in Iran.
The Kamel Scholarship will cover a maximum of 50% of the total tuition fee and will be awarded to two outstanding female candidates who wish to study the Aalto Executive MBA commencing in October 2016 at IBS. Female candidates who meet the admissions criteria of the Aalto EMBA program can apply for the scholarship by completing the application form and submitting an essay detailing why the Kamel scholarship is important to them and in what way they believe the Aalto EMBA can positively impact their professional development. The deadline for this application is 1st August 2016.
The Donya Eghtesad Scholarship, funded by Donya-e-Eqtesad daily, will cover one half of the two-year program’s complete tuition fee and will be awarded to two candidates who wish to study the Aalto Executive MBA commencing in October 2016 at IBS.
