The Iranian Business School (IBS) is a not for profit post graduate school accredited by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and working in partnership with some of the most successful business schools in the world to bring the highest level of training to the Iranian professional class.
The school has created a platform through which prominent international faculty and successful figures from the corporate world can deliver their knowledge of the very latest methods and practices in the science of management, whilst identifying and taking under consideration local market factors. Ultimately, the school aims to equip its graduates with the vision to transform ideas into breakthrough thinking and with the practical skills necessary to negotiate a pathway to success.
The school is dedicated to maintaining a superior learning environment and to nurturing leadership, independent thinking and creativity in conjunction with the social values of fair play and integrity. IBS aims to hone raw entrepreneurial talent into expertise that will create a generation of business leaders equipped for a role on a global commercial stage. It believes that these individuals will ultimately have the necessary skill to revitalize Iran’s economic landscape in the 21st century.
To educate Iranian executives and entrepreneurs to lead, manage, and compete effectively in a global economy
Unlocking Iran’s economic potential
The Iranian Business School was conceived of in 2007 by a core group of individuals who shared the same notion to enhance Iran’s management practices by bringing an internationally recognized standard of executive education to Iran.
The school opened its doors in 2010, with the first Strategic Leadership Program for senior managers of Iranian companies. Since its inception, hundreds of individuals have benefited from the school’s executive education programs, delivered by some of the world’s most respected academics in the field. IBS has been no less than ground breaking in the context of breadth, the quality of content and the elevated benchmark for teaching that it has brought to the Iranian market a market that hitherto had to travel abroad to access such optimal standards for business education.
Building on the success of these programs and further developing its proven model for collaboration with leading European business schools IBS signed an agreement in December 2013 with triple-crown-accredited Aalto Executive Education in Helsinki, Finland, to deliver the Aalto Executive MBA in Tehran. The first and second cohorts of students started their program in October 2014 and October 2015 respectively. Year 2016 sees the introduction of a new portfolio of open enrolment programs for senior executives and a general management program for high potential middle managers.
